Service Description

This four-week course is perfect for beginners, intermediate makers, and anyone wanting a well-rounded introduction to pottery. It is also ideal for those with some prior ceramics experience who would like a structured refresher or gentle refinement of their skills. You’ll learn a mix of wheel throwing and handbuilding techniques, gaining confidence while creating functional and decorative pieces. Across the course, you’ll be guided through the full making process — from forming and refining your work to trimming, glazing, and finishing. You’ll learn how different glazes behave and how to apply them to achieve beautiful results. Classes are kept small (maximum six participants) to ensure personalised guidance and attention for each student. All materials, tools, studio use, and kiln firings are included. At the end of the course, you’ll take home several finished ceramic pieces you’ve made yourself. No prior experience needed.
