Pottery classes

Our classes and courses are taught in a relaxed, supportive environment, in small groups and a calm teaching approach.

 

Introductory / Taster session

  • A friendly introduction to wheel throwing - perfect for beginners who want to enjoy their first experience with clay.

 

Classes

  • Structured course for beginners and intermediate makers, designed to build confidence at a comfortable pace through wheel throwing, handbuilding, or a combination of both.

  • Also ideal for those with some ceramics experience who would like a refresher or gentle refinement of their skills.

  • Small class size (maximum six participants) to ensure personalised guidance and attention for each student.

Studio shop

Our in-studio shop supports emerging makers by offering a rare opportunity to sell work directly, with a fairer commission than typical retail spaces.

The shop features:

•  Member-made ceramics

•  Small-batch goods by local makers

•  Clay Cobo branded items
